We enable homeless people to offer as well as receive help. We believe that homeless people are a massively untapped resource of skills, creativity, knowledge and experience able to contribute positively to their community.
Lifecraft is a self help organisation set up and run by people who have experienced mental health problems.
Our services for members include free counselling, activity groups, arts projects and events and social club including meals.
To be a member you will need an address (which can be temporary) and someone who can give you a reference – a support worker or GP for example.
If you do not want to become a member you can still use our information service (open 1-4pm Monday – Friday) or our evening telephone helpline Lifeline 0808 8082121 from 7pm-11pm every day.
Calls are free and confidential and it is someone you can speak to if you are in distress or need information.
We also have a mental health handbook which lists a wide range of community services which can be collected from The Bath House in Gwydir Street.
