From its origins as an in-house Newsletter for ECHG’s hostel at Willow Walk
– the Willow Walker has grown over recent years into a popular, high quality and free quarterly street magazine for Cambridge.

The Willow Walker's activities also include occasional concerts and the publication of a 2007 calendar - see the DOWNLOAD section for more info.

Do you have a story to tell or comment to make? Read-on!

There are three ways to contribute an ARTICLE or a LETTER to the Willow Walker:

  1. Write it and send it directly
  2. For people living in or near Cambridge, the Willow Walker records an interview with you. This usually takes between 20 and 40 minutes. The Willow Walker then types up and edits the recording. You check the result. If you don’t like it, it doesn’t go in; if you do, it does. 80% of the articles in the magazine are done in this way.
  3. Record yourself on an ordinary cassette tape and send the result to the address below. As above, the Willow Walker will edit the recording and confirm the final copy with you before publication.

POEMS are accepted only if the poet is prepared to talk or write about the work.
PHOTOGRAPHS
, DRAWINGS and CARTOONS are welcome.
ADVERTISEMENTS cost £25 for a quarter page.
